20mph Speed limit
Following recent speed surveys, ESCC has confirmed to the Parish Council that 20mph signs can be put up as requested subject to a Traffic Regulation Order, which could take up to 12 months to receive. The requested locations for the speed restriction includes all roads on the Downlands Estate. This would necessitate alternating roundels and 20mph signs every 200m on the main Estate roads. Once the TRO has been applied for, all will be able to comment. The EDDR is liaising with the PC and RA over this initiative and further updates will be provided in due course.
